Walsall Arboretum- Walk 26

The Rose Arbor

The hidden summer house

The boat house.

We decided to go back to Walsall Arboretum to see what it looked like in Summer. Some of the pretty sites that we saw in spring were impossible to take photos of with all the summer foliage around. It was a lovely sunny day, again.

This was a glacial boulder of rhyolitic lava that moved during the ice age from Wales to the Midlands. It was placed in the Arboretum in 1925.

View over the lake from the bandstand.
