I've signed up for the pretty paper party class by Shimelle as 'pretty paper' is taking over the house. So it's about time I forced myself to use it!

We've had the welcome message this morning and I think I am a Pattern contender- I tend to buy 'beautiful' paper- that is too beautiful to use! I am in danger of being a bit of a ollection packer- buying matching papers to use together - but I will mix patterns from different designers.

I'm supposed to add a photo of some of my fave paper here and first failure of the class- my camera battery is dead. I knew it was- but just assumed I'd borrow Amy's. But unfortunately I can't locate it in her room- and not delving too far. Guy's new Nikon is staring at me- but I have no idea what setting he's put it on- but I can't even get it to take a photo!!!!!! So maybe I should have joined a camera class instead! So I need to get the battery charged and take that later.

I went to a crop yesterday and some of the ladies sell off patterned paper and other lovely bits and pieces. I do try to be good- but they were just unresistable yesterday! Martha was selling off some sheets that went with the pages she'd just done- and unbelievably she was getting rid of some of my all time favourite Basic Grey- Sweet Pea Jack . I also bought about 5 other sets of papers at 1 pound each including some Scarlet Letter Basic Grey!

I'm looking forward to trying to work through this course and get some of my pretty paper into albums!!!!!!
