I had a bit of a disaster with my library book this week- and ended up taking it back to the library to pay for a new copy before I'd read it. SO The Gathering Storm has to go on my 'wishlist' for when I find it reduced somewhere! I should have finished it first though, as I paid for it anyway!
I picked up a few great books from the library and can't wait to read the Linwood Barclay- Fear the Worst. I've read a few of his and have wanted to read this one since 2009, according to my Goor Reads list! I am reading Valentine by the lady who writes Katie Prices books. I was interested to see how she writes as herself. It's a fairly good read so far, think it's going to be a predictable chick lit. But you can't beat that sometimes!
Also having a disaster at home- the drain is blocked. Guy borrowed some drain rods from next door- but it's only our house that is affected. I would have called someone out- but the car had to go into the garage for the second time. It cost 300 pound for a new fuel pump, also lost half a tank of petrol and had to refill it. Worse - what they've done hasn't fixed the problem. So it's going to have to go back in this week. So the pennies just aren't there. We are predicted rain though- so I am going to have to call someone out to fix it, as Guy didn't manage.
