It's Monday, what are you reading?

I've just started Bleed for Me by Michael Robotham, another new author to me.
"Roy Hegarty lies dead in his daughter Sienna's bedroom. She is found covered in his blood. Everything points to her guilt, but psychologist Joe O'Loughlin isn't convinced.
Fourteen year old Sienne is the best friend of Joe's daughter, and he's seen the troubled look in her eyes as she grows up. Against the advice of the police, he launches his own investigation."

I'm only 40 pages in so far- but liking his style. This is a series apparently- but can be read as a stand alone.


I read my favourite book so far this year last week. Walking back to happiness by Lucy Dillon. She writes lovely cosy books- and this one follows a young widow through her grieving process - back into the world. She conveniently lives next door to a builder- who is helping her do up her 'forever' home. It sounds quite depressing- but was actually a warming book!

Next- I bought 2 books yesterday in Sainsburys and might pick one of those up. Beautiful creatures by Lulu Taylor. It's about 2 twin girls being launched into Society.Octavia and Flora are prey to all sorts of dangers- Octavia is more extovert and grasps the opportunities, Flora is fearful of what lies beyond the walls of her overprotactive aunt's house.

I do have quite a few library books to read though- so another thriller might jump to the top of the queue!
