Walk 32- Hampton In Arden, Meriden and Kingsbury Water Park

We went to Hampton In Arden to find somewhere to walk- we had a nice walk through some woods- but the houses along the drive were absolutely wonderful. One was enormous with a gated front and a Rolls Royce on the drive, a guest house along with a football pitch in the grounds!

We had a walk around a spinney in Hampton In Arden and although it wasn't very picturesque it was a nice walk. We walked through the site of what looks like a new wood being established and saw lots of planes overhead. I made Holly a Daisy chain!
She found an awful muddy brook and jumped in- we had to go to Kingsbury Water Park so she could go for a swim to clean off!
We always love Kingsbury- it was so busy today though!
We walked around the centre of Meridan- classed as the centre of England. The cross has stood on the grounds for 500 years. It was resited in March 1952 to a model village at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London, whilst the green was modernised for the Battle of Britain celebrations.

Oh I never knew the centre of England was there! Would love to have seen those grand houses.
