We had a weekend in Derbyshire for our 20th Wedding Anniversary last year- and I have a weekend off on the 23-25th September. We've decided to go back and visit a few more places. I really want to visit Chatsworth and the Heights of Abraham.
I've found a lovely room with a 4 poster- but the hotel looks dated, a wonderful hotel with no on site parking so another no, a gorgeous 'suite' of rooms in a hotel with appartments- which has it's own sauna!~ a no on price that time!!!!!!!!!!, the Premier Inn we stayed in last time is a contender- but think we might go for a Ramada Hotel. Looking through all the possibilities has added a few more places I'd love to visit one day!
It's my birthday on Thursday and one of my friends popped round with a pressie this afternoon- I've been good and not peeped! I think my sister has bought me some matching toiletries for the new bathroom- to go with each colour change with the towels and bath mats. I suppose that will get stale eventually! I"m having a lovely scrapbook set and a penguin christmas ornament off my parents. I can't wait to unpack the scrapbook set- from Costco.
Another friend I think I haven't seen for a YEAR has just text to see if I am free tomorrow- and we are going to be 'ladies that lunch'!!!!!!!!! She is my best friend from school and a shame we don't catch up very often.
I'm meeting my mum for lunch on Thursday- so a busy week for me.
Emma went back to school with a different guide- hers is off for another 6 weeks. Luckily Phyliss agreed to take her.
Amy is trying to sort her timetable out- she's the only one in her Psychology block- so needs to try and attend the other sessions which clash with her chemistry. They've looked to see if they can move other students to fit the lesson blocks. It looks a total nightmare- they wanted her to fit another AS in- to fit in the spare blocks. She has a rolling 2 week timetable and they have got twilight sessions until 5- and days where she only has a lesson in the morning- but has to stay in school. She's playing her guitar now- even though she's had homework- so hope she isn't going to repeat last year!!!!!!!!
