Walk 36- The Black Country Living Museum

This was a fantastic day out. We went for my birthday treat! Mum and Dad always take my sister and I out on my birthday. In recent years it has been to Drayton Manor. This year everyone fancied going here- and I think it was a great choice. My mum and dad loved it. My dad loved going on the trolley buses and the tram.

They have people dressed up in costume, teaching and serving in shops. They have a Union building set up.

The school had small blackboards and handwriting practice to do!

The policeman patrolled around and he entertained a huge class of with old toys. they loved him.

'Leggin it' was the traditional way to get through tunnels- they would 'walk' along the roof or sit back to back and 'walk' along the walls.

These traditional fish and chips were absolutely delicious.
