Week 9- Salford Park

Not the most picturesque walk. We had to abandon our original walk as it wasn't clear which route to take! So we drove around and came across Salford Park- which is underneath Spaghetti Junction. We'd often seen the water here and wondered what it was- so now we have walked around it! It is also the home to a 5 a side centre- so lots of young kids playing football there.

Holly had a whale of a time- as we only saw 1 other person around the lake so she could run off her lead and she also went for a swim. The swans were lovely- Daddy swan was keeping an eye on us from up ahead and the mum had 2 almost fully grown cygnets. They still had the last baby feathers to lose. The poor tree had fallen into the water- and the root ball looked too small to support it.

It was not a good weekend for weather and walking, Saturday better tha Sunday. I like how you present your photos. Will follow your bolg with interst now I have discovered it. So, you have teenage twins I read on UKS, my triplets are 18 this month, two girls and a boy. Plan to do my walk for week 9 tomorrow as my friend Linda is joining me for a few days scrapping in Suffolk and we are both doing the project.
